we gamin here, bois.
fr, this is p much some recommendations for stuff i like that hasn't gotten the attention I hope.
| Myrdalssandur, Iceland | This is a pretty cool little photography game that takes place in Iceland. It's also where this background comes from. Not a lot else to it, but it's cool. |
| NaissanceE | deffo a "oh ya, ze art" kinda game, but it's also onea my faves. NaissanceE is a first person platformer, but it's mostly about exploring a Megastructure, like that in Blame! if you're not familiar with either, it's a concrete building of dubious purpose that stretches essentially forever in all directions. It's built for humans, with doors and maintenance hatches, but also nobody would ever build something like this for humans. The Megastructure is the main character of this game, and the sights you see are amazing. |
| Straftat | straftat is awesome. I discovered it cuz I played the dev's previous game, Babbdi, and i really liked it, so I followed the dev on twitter, and then he started posting dev vlogs of it and I was in love immediately. for those who don't know, Straftat is a hyper-casual pvp shooter where you have super quick 1v1 *or up to 4 players now* rounds of last man standing deathmatch. The game is free, its got stupid amounts of maps, bro's still updating it, and the artstyle is the exact scumfuck type of thing i love. it's genuinely hilarious to me how the ak47 is some SculptGL type blobby piece of shit. the music is a mix of Drum and Beats and early 2000's Jungle beats type shi. the kind of music that would be jammin as you go thru races in R4: Ridge Racer Type 4, which in my mind, is the highest praise. The mechanics and gamefeel are genuinely great tho, so it's worth your time and ur no money. i'd suggest ya buy the dlc tho, they deserve money |
